What a weekend. Great times with friends and good poker. Choctaw Casino Resort is really treating us well lately. Not so much in the amount we're winning lately but their hospitality. Can't say enough good things about them. Stayed all weekend and got a lot of comps. They are very accomidating now days.
I think I have a new name for QQ the Sigfreid and Roy hand. I'm sitting at a 1/2 table Saturday night and it's about 2am. I've been up and down, up and down nursing about $80. I've been frustrated to say the least as the table was ripe. So I raise to $12 preflop and get a raise and then a call on my right. I figure ok, this is it, hit this hand or go back to the hotel room and sleep. I push all in for $80 total and get two calls. OH CRAP!!! But, knowing this table I feel ok about it really. Flops out 2 4 8 rainbow. Check check, alright, I feel ok so far. Another 4, ok. Another 2 on the river. I look to the kid on my right and say do u have me beat and he says no, he shows 10 J. Hmmmmm, ok. Other guy is sitting there with that grin on his face and I start to sweat. He finally throws over his hand and it is pocket 3s. POCKET FRIGGIN 3S!!!! You must be kidding me, I almost thought for a second I was beat but he didn't draw the straight. A sense of relief came over me and as I was dragging the chippies in I said to him " If you had beat me on that hand I would have run through the Casino to my room screaming at the top of my lungs in my loudest most blood curdling Bangi Indian War Cry you've ever heard and gone into my room and get BUCK ASS NAKED AND TAKE A BIG OLE CRAP WITH YOUR NAME ON IT"!!Dude to my left says "BUCK ASS NAKED"? And I said damn right BUCK ASS NAKED, hairy ass and all and take a big ole crap with that dudes name on it.
WELL, needless to say the table behind me couldn't believe what just happened and looked a little perplexed, the dealer at my table had tears running down his cheeks from laughing. The other players looked like they were trying to imaging what it would look like me running through the casino screaming at the top of my lungs to only get to the room and get plum BUCK ASS NAKED saluting the player to my right!!!! First it was the j 4 that I was famous for at Choctaw and now I'll say beware of the BUCK ASS NAKED hand cause it is my new favorite hand. And if you ever see me running across the casino screaming, just beware, very aware of what is about to happen! :}
Gretchen Wilson was awesome us usual. If you've never seen her check her out. You really missed a great concert and Pookie was missed by all. We had great seats and look to go back for other concerts.
